Welcome to the Treasure Coast Council of Local Governments Website. The TCCLG is a congenial group of elected officials from Counties, Cities, Towns, and School Boards that make up the Treasure Coast of Florida. Indian River, Martin, Okeechobee, and St. Lucie Counties make up this part of paradise we call the Treasure Coast.

The Treasure Coast is now referred to as the Research Coast because of all the Bio-Tech companies that have migrated here. The USDA research lab, Harbor Branch Oceanographic Institute, Smithsonian Institute’s oceanographic lab, Torrey Pines Institute of Molecular Studies, The Vaccine and Gene Therapy Institute of Florida, and the Al Mann Institute, just to name a few!

Why do companies look to our region to relocate? Florida is ranked as the 4th lowest tax state for corporations. Our region has some of the best schools and one of the best quality of life indexes in our state. We are centrally located near airports, seaports, railroads, I-95 and the Florida Turnpike.
